The Edge in Environmental Policy Writing in Wyoming

Begin your two-week study away experience at the Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, where Dr. Lotz and local experts will lead you in a week of classroom-based lectures and discussions around policy and policy writing.  You'll then travel to Cheyenne, the state's capital, to meet with legislators, policy writers, and lobbyists.  Finally, you'll end the program in Estes Park, at the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Forest, where you'll have time to explore the park on your own and meet with officials to discuss the implications of policy on the National Park Service.
